MOCA Taipei is the first museum in Taiwan to be jointly funded by the city and the private sector. Currently, it is governed by the Cultural Affairs Bureau of Taipei and run by Contemporary Art Foundation. Its administrative team includes the director engaged by the board of the foundation and division members recruited by the director.
