The Museum of Contemporary Art, Taipei (MOCA), recently decided to grant free gallery guide for groups. This program is designed to promote art education, improve the understanding of contemporary art on the part of both teachers and students and to highlight the fact that learning can be fun.

Booking Methods :
1. Booking can be made by telephone two weeks before a planned visit (+886-2-2552-3720 ext.301/302. Details of the visit should include time and date, size of group, contact telephone and fax numbers, E-mail, address and whether a professional guide will be required etc).
2. Once the above details have been noted, the school/group is required to notify MOCA of the planned trip by online application form, which can be faxed or posted to Ms. Hsieh in the Administration Department (+886-2-2559-3874, Address: 39 ChangAn West Road, Taipei 103, Taiwan ROC).
3. On receiving a booking MOCA will fax (post or send an E-mail) a confirmation slip to the school in three working days.

On the day of the visit, the teacher in charge of the visiting group is required to produce this confirmation slip at the MOCA Information Desk. Guide Services are offered on the basis of the conformation slip. If the school is not contacted by MOCA three days before the planned visit, then please phone the Museum to confirm necessary arrangements have been made.

Items to Note :
1. On arriving at MOCA the teacher in charge is required to report to the Information Desk. Where the visiting group is larger than 100, individuals are asked to congregate in the square in front of the Museum, where they will be organized into smaller groups and wait for the arrival of MOCA docents.

3. Teachers that accompany the school group will be granted free entry.
Additional Information :
1. In the event that the time or date of the visit has to be changed, please make sure to inform MOCA (+886-2-2552-3720 ext. 301 or 302).
2. School groups must be led by a teacher to ensure the students behave in an orderly manner for the duration of their visit.
3. If an application is made to take photographs for teaching purposes, only one photographer per group will be permitted. The use of photographic flashes is not allowed as they can damage the works on display and interfere with the enjoyment of other patrons.
