Naked Life

The exhibition takes a ¡§Naked Life¡¨ viewpoint in an attempt to re-examine several aspects of daily life through the political spectrum created by the operations and effects of a sovereign state. Examples include the Cold War, post colonialism, authoritarian rule and revolution, social ovements, racism, travel in the face of border control, immigrant labor, workers in the unofficial economy, freedom of speech, social supervision  and the influence these phenomenon have on identity, language, psychology of fear, personal history etc. Artists from different countries and regions make use of their own personal experiences and local histories, utilizing different materials and creative methods in examining the ¡§Naked Life¡¨ state in which modern people live.
