The different happenings in life have inspired Huang to reach enlightenment about life and also to experience all the challenges, obstacles, and spiritual contentment within. These life’s experiences have woven together the different marks and imprints from the artist’s life. They are the proofs of time and events, and are also evidences comprised with his mind, spirit, and memories. Huang uses art to demonstrate the changes in life, and in the recent years, he has gone through some major life events, including school, career, marriage, and fatherhood. The wheel of time continues to spin, and along the way, as he savors the sweetness in life, he is also stimulated to carefully inspect and create images based on the expected and also unexpected events. The three artworks included in this solo exhibition, Once in a Life Time, are the outcomes derived from his thoughts on life and time.
